Beyond the beautiful execution of the foot sweep (and wicked knee to the head), did you catch the set up?  The video is only 7 seconds long, but has a gem in it that could take years of study to get on your own.  Watch it one more time to see if you can catch the secret.

Damn, that's one beautifully executed masterpiece of fighting.  Wow.  

Okay, here is the secret sauce.

Small Feint Jab Does the Set Up

Did you notice the left (jab) hand of Red Gloves (yellow arrow)? Red Gloves does a small feint with it. And what does Black Gloves instinctively do?  What do most people do when the see a jab/hook flash like that? 

Clover Up / Sweep Sequence - Notice the Timing in Frame 2

If you answered "cover up", that's right! Look at the right arm (orange arrow) of Black Gloves. He goes for the cover up.  When he covers up, he blinds himself to the right side, and guess what Red Gloves does at that exact split second?

Notice in the second frame of the Cover Up / Sweep Sequence that Red Gloves moves for the sweep (yellow arrow) at EXACTLY the same moment as Black Gloves covers up.  Beautiful. Pure Artistry!!!!

It should also be noted that the execution of the foot sweep is amazing too.  The foot is swept at the exact moment as the weight shifted forward, with the foot still in the air as it's coming down.  AMAZING!!
